Asian iCandy Review

Hey all!

A while back I made a purchase from Asian iCandy, it was a long time coming but finally got a chance to write my review.

They had so many cute items but because shipping is quite expensive I held off; however, in January they had a promo code for 30% off! How could I resist, I really wanted this emerald lace dress (below)! I knew because of the Chinese New Years promo there would be a delay in processing (it said so during check out).

Before I get started I also want to say sorry for my absence. I was planning to post this a few days ago but I got very sick and was literally sleeping for 16-18 hours a day, only being awake for 1-2 hours at a time. I still am sick (sore throat now) but I can actually carry myself and have enough energy to sit at my desk and use the computer (I had to take a short nap after walking down stairs! haha). I'm also really behind on commenting back everyone, so sorry!!! :(

And one more note (sheesh.. so many side bars tonight!) I wanna say a hugehuge THANK YOU!! to everyone! I am so happy to have reached 100 followers! When I started blogging it was just for fun so I could comment on Jenna's blog.  I appreciate all the lovely comments and people that take the time to read my entries. I have made a few very wonderful friends since (like, last month lol) and I am so grateful to to be inspired by such beautiful wonderful human beings! ♥♥♥

Hey everyone!

Spring break has finally started for me, unfortunately I still have plenty of projects and studying to catch up on. Mr. Cool and I decided we would indulge in a short vocation to San Francisco. (By the way, when I first started to date my boyfriend he insisted he be called "Mr. Serious Cool 5,000" or MSC5.... Yes, he tried to tell me 5 was short for 5,000! lol.. It is because I told him how dorky and silly he was all the time!)

I didn't get as many photos as I wanted and ended up with a few too many narcissistic photos of myself, I'm almost ashamed. Well, almost. lol

New OASAP skirt!!

Hey everyone!

I got my new skirt from Oasap a few days ago! I was unable to wear it until recently because of the indecisive weather!

I really like it. The skirt is called Short Sexy Lace Skirt with Ribbon Embellished Soft Yarn. What a name! Unfortunately, it is currently sold out. I picked another item too but not in the same order so I have to wait for that. boo!

It is really soft and super sheer! It is lined but even so it's very sheer. I wouldn't wear them without tights. Unless I sew my own lining under it. The length is not bad actually, even at my natural waist. Though, I wouldn't recommend wearing it without tights because of the length too. It just covers! For reference I am 5 feet 5 inches tall.

I accidentally saved all my images (besides the first one) smaller than usual, doh!!

Ettore's & LoveItShop

Hey everyone!

Yesterday I was able to try out Ettore's, finally! It is a European Bakery and restaurant. I have tried one of their cakes a few years ago but never their food. It is so delicious! I can't wait to go back!

I ordered  the Sage Roasted Turkey Breast on Potato Baguette sandwich. It was delicious! I love warm brie, and with bacon? What a treat! All the flavors melded together perfectly. My only complaint is that there was not enough Aioli for me, some parts were a little dry.

All of their sandwiches are served with Pasta Salad. Whenever I am offered pasta salad I usually partake but don't really care for it. I've never had pasta salad impress or blow me away. I mean.. it's pasta salad, everyone says theirs is the best but nobody actually cares for it. However, Ettore's pasta salad was AMAAAAAZZZING! There were many levels of yummy flavor! It was not the slightly sour one dimensional pasta salad I am so used to. I ate it all!

Dressing up a cheap Forever 21 dress

Hey all!

I got this super cute dress from Forever 21! It was less than $18! It's very simple but quite easy to dress up. I admit, I feel like I could have made a better outfit out of the dress but I was in a rush to get dressed and out to take a couple quick shots then to dinner! Maybe next time I can do the dress a tad more justice!
